This week was filled with scary costumes, DROID madness, and Google continuing there mass takeover of the world. What fun or agony, it all really depends if you are TomTom and Garmin (Thanks Google Navigation!):
MOTOROLA DROID
The new Motorola Droid coming to Verizon Wireless on November 6th made geeks around the world finally think, “hmm… there actually may be something other than the iPhone to choose from!” Pretty exciting stuff. Here are the reviews:
- Gizmodo
- Engadget
- CNET
- All in all I thought that most of the DROID reviews were fairly honest and unbiased. I think that it was hard to not be in the hype from this phone, but I feel that most of these great sights did well.

- I am definitely an open source geek, but have yet to try the newest version of Ubuntu. I will be trying it out soon and posting my impressions.

- If you want to get your feet we with the newest in HTML, this is THE site to check out.
- Google’s Eric Schmidt on What the Web Will Look Like in 5 Years via ReadWriteWeb
- The whole entire interview was about 45 minutes, but ReadWriteWeb took out about 6 minutes that everyone who uses the web would be interested in.
- Bill Keller: Apple Tablet ‘Impending’ via Gawker
- Is there any post that would be a post without some sort of Apple table reference? Anyways, Bill Keller from the NYT let the Apple ‘Slate’ slip out in a press conference, and if that is the real name, I am loving it.

Chris,
Thanks for the link-love!
I’m really liking this theme! WooThemes is awesome and you’ve done a great job with the mods. It may help too, that you’ve used some of my favorite colors!
Thanks for the link and the nice weekly round up!
